The access data includes the name and URL of the retrieved file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, message about successful retrieval (HTTP response code), type and version of browser, operating system, referrer URL (i.e., the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.

We use this log data, without linking to your person or other profiling for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security, and optimization of our online offerings, but also for anonymous recording of the number of visitors on our website (traffic), the extent, and nature of use of our website and services, as well as for billing purposes, to measure the number of clicks received from collaboration partners. Thanks to this information, we can provide personalized and location-based content, analyze web traffic, detect and fix bugs, and enhance our services. We reserve the right to review the log data retrospectively if there is justifiable suspicion of unlawful use based on specific indications. We store IP addresses for a limited period in the log files if it is necessary for security purposes, service provision, or billing of a service, for example, if you use one of our offers. After cancellation of the ordering process or upon receipt of payment, we delete the IP address if it is no longer needed for security purposes. We also store IP addresses if we have specific suspicion of a crime associated with the use of our website. Moreover, as part of your account, we store the date of your last visit (for example, during registration, login, clicking of links etc.) on ChildHelp.info.

2.2 Email Contact
When you get in touch with us (for example, via the contact form or email), we store your information to process your request and in case any follow-up questions arise. We only save and use further personal data with your consent, or if this is legally permitted even without special consent.

2.3 Google Analytics

The plug-in “Google Analytics”, offered by Google Inc., 1720 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, records the traffic on our website. The information collected by cookies about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On ChildHelp.info, we have activated IP anonymization so that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Occasionally, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by the site visitors is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

In the event of IP anonymization being activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on this website. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide us with additional services related to website and internet usage.

The IP address transmitted from your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser software; however, we would like to inform you that in this case, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to their full extent. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin.

Occasionally, we use Matomo Analytics, a web analysis service. Matomo Analytics enables an analysis of the website usage by its visitors. The information generated about visitors’ use of this website is stored only on our server in Germany and is not shared with third parties.

IP anonymization is active on this website, which means that only a shortened version, and not the complete IP, is stored. Therefore, it’s impossible to draw conclusions about individual users through the IP.

2.5 Mautic Marketing
Occasionally, we use Mautic Marketing. Mautic Marketing allows for a targeted approach to our customers and prospects. This is typically done via email. We only contact customers and prospective clients when we have a business relationship with them and/or have received consent for contact via electronic media.
